BMT-M.78Providing and fixing plain PVC rigid foam sheet wall panelling of thickness 5mm consisting of panels having size 1220mm X2440mm stuck on inner frame work of 25mm wide strips of 5mm thick PVC rigid foam sheet. The strips should have in their centre a grove of 6mm width and 2mm depth for sinking the head of the screw used to fix the strips to the wall and should be placed vertically at equal intervals of 405/407mm centre to c entre. The PVC strips shall be fixed to the wall using 65mm long M.S. screws through the groove in the strip by using PVC fasteners. The distance between two screws shall not be more than 300mm. a groove of 2mm may be left at the joint of two panels for aesthetic looks. This framework is done for making existing wall surface in ensured level and for sticking the wall panelling sheet (panel) on it. The exact size of the panel and correspondingly of the grid May be varied depending n the size of the wall. However it must be ensured that a strips of 5mm thick PVC sheet of width 75mm feathered at the edges shall be stuck at the places where two panels are joined, using solvent cement. , complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge,Sqm2,100.00
