Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use arched.ai, its free resources (articles, Schedule of Rates tables and the CPWD Analysis of Rates), the customer portal at app.arched.ai, or ask Arched Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Arched”, “we”, “us”) for engineering services. Together we call these the “Services”. By using the Services you agree to these terms.
When we take on work for you, the scope, fee and turnaround we agree in writing (a proposal, order or agreement) form part of your contract with us. Where they differ from these terms, the written agreement takes precedence.
2. What we do
Arched is an AI-native engineering firm for contractors. We deliver tender and bid support, estimating and quantities, design checks and drawings, and contract management. Our AI produces the work and our engineers review it, make the judgment calls and sign it off.
We agree the scope and a fixed fee, or a monthly retainer, before we start. Work outside the agreed scope is priced separately and agreed before we start it.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate and complete documents, and tell us the codes, standards and rate basis that apply.
- Make sure you have the right to share the documents you send us.
- Review the deliverables before you rely on them. Bidding, commercial and construction decisions, and what you submit, remain yours.
4. What our work does and doesn’t promise
Deliverables are based on the information you provide and come with their assumptions, rates and exclusions written down. We do not guarantee a winning bid or a final construction cost.
A review or check reports what we found in the material you gave us. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, responsibility for a design stays with its designer of record.
5. Free resources
Our articles and rate tables are provided free, for reference. Rate tables are transcribed from the official sources cited on each page and may contain errors or be superseded. Always check against the official document before you price a bid. You may use the downloads for your own work. Don’t republish or resell them as a dataset.
6. Customer portal
If we give you access to app.arched.ai, keep your login details confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used them. You’re responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access to protect the portal or other customers.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for anything unlawful.
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the Services or the data of others.
- Scrape or bulk-download the website beyond the downloads we offer.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, or send spam through our forms.
8. Intellectual property
Your documents remain yours. Rights in the deliverables we produce for you are set out in your written agreement with us. Unless it says otherwise, once you’ve paid for them you may use them for the project they were prepared for. The website, our content, our software and our methods remain ours.
9. Confidentiality and privacy
We treat your project documents as confidential and are happy to sign an NDA before you share anything. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
The website and free resources are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Arched is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contracts or business opportunities. Our liability for paid work is set out in your written agreement with us and, unless it says otherwise, is limited to the fees paid for the work concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Changes don’t affect work already agreed in writing.
